We ship within the United States, excluding AK and HI. Tubers shipment begins early April.
Timing: We don’t ship before April to minimize freeze risks in shipping. Your tubers arrive with at least one viable eye (it may not be visible on arrival) and labeled. If a budding eye detaches during handling don’t worry, another bud soon forms at the origin. If for any reason a variety fails during our winter storage, expect a refund within a week after shipment of any items remaining on your order. We don’t substitute.
Shipping: All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail.
1-4 tubers $12.40
5-20 tubers $18.40
21-40 tubers $24.75
Local pickup is offered this year. Early April 2026 TBD. Make sure we have a current email to contact you. We are located in Redmond, WA. 20 minutes from Seattle. If for any reason you can’t pickup your order, arrange someone to dependably pickup for you. We close to the public after these pickup dates to complete our planting. I apologize to have to set this as stringent but past experience of requests for pickup customization has proved to hard to accommodate. You will be notified of 2 dates in the first 2 weeks of April as options.
Open and inspect orders on arrival and contact us by email within 7 days if you have any concerns; providing photos of what you received.
Understand tubers are a perishable product; poor weather, growing conditions, poor customer care, pest damage, individual micro climates, are beyond our control and we are unable to refund these conditions.
All sales orders are Final at time of purchase and non-refundable. Shipping and handling are non-refundable.
We will attempt to combine shipping if possible on multiple orders. Orders must be addressed to the same recipient in all cases. It’s to your benefit and ours that we can do this. Less packaging and less shipping cost to you.
Planting Tips: Don’t plant in a wet streak, avoid watering until sprouts are seen above ground a few inches( with exception of a dry spell causing dry soil).
It is important to plant asap after arrival into warm ground temps that are consistently 55 to 60 degrees. It should be past your zones last freeze date. If you can’t plant for a short period keep them in a spot around 50º in the medium they arrive in and lightly mist if needed to avoid drying out. Don’t let them sit out, they are safer in ground with good drainage and soil temps mentioned above than hanging out somewhere.
Know that tubers have individual timelines for breaking eyes. Some bud early, some late.
